Buy a cask of whisky

At Casks.dk you have the opportunity to buy your very own cask of Scotch whisky. We have casks in several different sizes, but typically these are Octave, Barrel, Hogshead and Butt's. The casks originate from several different distilleries in Scotland, and an age variation from 0 years to plus 30 years.

If you are interested in buying a cask of whisky, you are welcome to contact us by mail info@casks.dk for prices etc. – We only sell whisky casks to private individuals, other independent bottlers, and associations – NOT to auction houses, etc.

If you are looking for a cask from a specific distillery, you are always welcome to contact us. Then we will see if we can get it for you.

When you buy a cask of whisky from Casks.dk, the cask is handed over to you so that it is in your name, in the warehouse where the cask is located. Should the cask unexpectedly not be handed over to you (due to lack of customer account), the cask will simply remain in our name, in the warehouse where it is located, and we will make a certificate/contract for you on the cask. After the handover of the cask, it is you as the owner who decides when and how the whisky is to be bottled. You can typically choose from several different bottle types.

The whisky cask must be stored in a warehouse in Scotland, and you will need to pay warehouse rent for each cask you own. The rent varies from warehouse to warehouse but is typically around £60 ex VAT per year.

Services we offer

When your cask of whisky is ready for bottling, we can also help with this, and not least to get the bottled bottles imported to Denmark.

Once the bottles have arrived at our Duty-free warehouse in Denmark, they can either be picked up there or we can send the bottles directly to your address.

We take care of all the practicalities; you just have to enjoy the whiskey once it has arrived 🤗
